Dr. Ejaz has been awarded an NIH NIAID R21 Grant!

Dr. Asim Ejaz is PI on a new R21 grant entitled, Re-Purposing of Metformin as a Countermeasure for Radiation-Combined Injuries. This two-year project includes Dr. Francesco Egro as a Co-Investigator and will examine the role of metformin in treating skin injuries after exposure to radiation.
