2025 DOPS 22nd ANNUAL RESEARCH DAY IS FRIDAY JUNE 27, 2025!
We are pleased to announce that the Department of Plastic Surgery’s Annual Research Day will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Petersen Events Center (3719 Terrace Street). This in-person event will showcase outstanding research from our residents, fellows, students, and trainees, and will feature keynote lectures by our visiting professor, Dr. Amanda Gosman, Professor and Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at UC San Diego School of Medicine. CME credits will be available for physicians and AAPA credits for physician assistants. Attendance is mandatory for residents, who will be excused from clinical duties for the day. We strongly encourage all faculty members to attend and support this important departmental event.
Abstract submissions are due by May 16, 2025.

- 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Presentations
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
- 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Presentations
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Reception and Awards Ceremony
