Congratulations to Dr. Shawn Loder who was been awarded a 2026 AFSH Basic Science Grant! Dr. Loder 's 2-year grant, entitled "Single-Stage Autologous Composite Reconstruction for Extremity Trauma," focuses on developing a novel reconstructive technique to restore coverage and function in a single surgery that can be used to treat composite soft-tissue defects with exposed tendon, bone, or hardware.
