Tiffany Jeong is a medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, expected to graduate in 2027. She earned her BA in Cellular and Molecular Genetics from Boston University in 2020, with international study experiences in France and Ecuador.
As a dedicated researcher in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Tiffany has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed publications and has presented her research at numerous national conferences, including the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, American Council of Educators in Plastic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery The Meeting.
Currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh under Dr. Jesse A. Goldstein, Tiffany's research interests include gender-affirming facial surgery, pediatric craniofacial reconstruction, burn surgery, and microsurgery.
Beyond research, Tiffany demonstrates strong leadership in medical education and advocacy. She serves as Treasurer for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and was the Graduate Student Representative on the Medical Insurance Task Force. She is actively involved in mentorship and community service as a coordinator for the Association of Women Surgeons and Medical Student Pride Alliance, coordinator for the TOPS Project Transgender Narrative Medicine, and volunteers as a camp counselor at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times while providing Spanish interpretation services at the Birmingham Free Clinic.
