Liz Dominguez is a clinical research fellow with the Department of Plastic Surgery. She completed her medical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. During the 2024-2025 academic year, she is doing research in head and neck reconstruction and craniofacial trauma. Her research interests include medical education and patient outcomes, specifically how outcomes relate to social determinates of health.
Liz completed her undergraduate at the University of Oregon, where she played collegiate rugby. While at Oregon, she also developed a passion for education while working as a tutor and teaching assistant. Originally from Denver, CO, Liz enjoys hiking and skiing. In her free time, she also enjoys watching college football and taking care of her house plants. During her time here, Liz is excited to explore Pittsburgh and find the best restaurants and coffee shops.
