Asif Shaik is a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Plastic Surgery at University of Pittsburgh, beginning in May 2026. He holds a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Previously, he worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at DM Clinical Research, where he supported Phase I–IV clinical trials, participant recruitment, regulatory documentation, and data management. He also gained earlier clinical research experience in India at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital & Research Institute, where he assisted with study coordination, patient visits, and clinical data collection.

His professional interests include clinical trials, healthcare technology integration, data-driven research, and improving patient outcomes through innovative and evidence-based practices.

Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new places, staying active, and continuing his professional growth.
