Prince Wilfred is a certified clinical research professional with over five years of experience spanning clinical pharmacy and oncology research, supporting complex clinical trials across international and U.S. academic and healthcare settings.
He began his professional journey by earning a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, India, an internationally accredited institution. During his PharmD training, Prince developed a strong interest in clinical research and evidence‑based medicine and was part of a research team that conducted the randomized, placebo‑controlled study titled “Effect of Daily Oral Supplementation of Vitamin D3 in Iron and 25‑Hydroxyvitamin D Deficient Pregnant Women: A Randomized Placebo‑Controlled Study.”
Following his PharmD, Prince gained several years of experience as an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist at leading tertiary care hospitals in India, including Medanta – The Medicity, Apollo Proton Cancer Center, and GKNM Hospital. Through his involvement in multidisciplinary oncology care and clinical trial activities, he developed a strong patient‑centered approach and a solid foundation in research conduct.
To further strengthen his scientific training, Prince earned a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. His graduate work involved in vivo and in vitro translational research focused on inflammatory signaling following thermal burn injury. His master’s thesis, “Systemic Effects of Varying Degrees of Thermal Burn Injuries in Young Mice: Role of Microvesicle Particles and Platelet‑Activating Factor,” strengthened his skills in research design, data analysis, and scientific communication.
After transitioning to the U.S. clinical research environment, Prince joined oncology clinical research operations as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Hematology–Oncology at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida, where he supports the operational conduct of CAR‑T and other therapeutic clinical trials.
Prince’s experience across clinical pharmacy and research informs his focus on medication safety, protocol compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration, supporting his role in conducting high‑quality, ethically sound clinical research.
