The presented work, conducted in collaboration with Associate Professor Tahsin Oğuz Acartürk, introduces a novel hybrid surgical approach combining circumferential liposuction with targeted excisional techniques for advanced-stage lymphedema. The technique aims to reduce limb volume, improve function, and minimize postoperative complications.
Early clinical outcomes demonstrate significant reductions in limb circumference, improved quality of life, and low complication rates, highlighting a promising alternative to traditional excisional procedures.
