Dr. Carolyn De La Cruz and team organized an amazing EDUPlast Symposium on April 17th. The symposium, in its second year, is an initiative to enrich existing pipeline programs by expanding their curriculum with interactive, surgery-focused educational modules, focusing on 11th and 12th graders from low-income neighborhoods and local URiM college students. This year, three faculty, three residents, two staff and numerous lab members and medical students participated as well as 40 high school students!
